best 20 mins I've spent lately
It handles like a hovercraft

Do you think we could organise a group build?

The vid of him toying with the Porche is just brilliant.

Engine for the front, engine for the back and fuel tank for the passenger seat if I remember correctly?

I've been in contact with Anson, the chap who built it. As a friend and myself have been planning a build for some years now, we had almost given up on it as after much research through VW development (who decided after building 2 protype twin engined scirocco's that would eat audi quatros of the 1980s stopped the whole project.)
We had figured if VW wouldn't do it then maybe we didn't stand a chance!
Anson has given me a new drive for starting the project again, I've now purchased a couple of donor cars, super chargers for monster power
and should make the start next winter all being well.
At the moment his car is off the road but at easter he informed me that
"The car is coming along nicely, I should have a firewall completed this weekend... only four years after the car first hit the streets"
Our problem in the UK is all the paper work and stupid safety laws a completed car is going to be 100% illegal so could only be used off road. SVA tests would cause no end of problems, I remember from Scrap heap challenge a few years ago someone built a twin engined car and mot'd it, aparently as long as the spare engine was disconected then you can get it through.
