Absolutely love your rocco! Its a credit too you! Looks so clean and tidy, not too flash, but enough to turn heads for sure! Keep up the good work!

Thank you :D I cannot take all of the credit though as i have not had it that long, so its a credit to the last owner for keeping the car relatively clean. Not polished/waxed very often im guessing though by the random crappily resprayed panels and faded original paint that is really annoying me.
Ive been speaking to a friend about getting some small patches of rust sorted where the filler neck attaches to the inner arch and has started to show inside the car. Im getting that sorted soon along with a respray, so i will be able to get out the detailing kit at last
Got some pics with the snowflakes on from the weekend and of the new rocker cover look, much better in crackle black rather than hamerite yellow!

Re: 1990 Red Scirocco Scala 'Ratchet'
Ive finally had some time to work on the car as most of my uni work is done and its been dry enough to get out in the day when im working nights.
The new fuel tank is fitted and its nice and clean on the shell above the tank :)
I also painted the top half of tank in epoxy mastic and a clear wax on the underside to prevent any chance of rust.
The car now has a new waterpump, cambelt, tensioner, aux belt, thermostat, synta silver 10w/40, new oil filter, coolant change for genuine vw coolant.
I also got around to fitting my new wishbones/ball joints/ front powerflex bush set and weichers brace bar.
The old wishbones were flaking apart from rust so ive clear coated all of the new parts to help stop this again. It looks much nicer under there but more importantly i cannot believe the difference to the handling of the car! It turns much sharper and has more feel through the steering wheel.
Everybolt was a pain to get out and the car fought me the whole way, but its all cleaned/greased and torqued up so shouldnt be a problem in the future, when i have to fit new coilovers because the ones on the car are seized
Not got many pics but heres a few:
