Bumpers

Post by Old Mac Rocco »

Had some work done to my car and left the old bumpers on just to see how they would turn out and now I don't know what to do ????????
Before the work was done on a day out to meet a new friend.

Back bumper looks dull and gray.
Now it looks like this.

Almost new but don't know how long it will last ????
Front looks like this.

I have a set of satin black painted ones ready to go on as this was my plan but now I'm not sure ?????
May fit them to see what they look like as it only takes a few minutes but I'm running short of time before Biggar.

Your cars looking well :good: You chopped my head off

I knew the detailers would revive the bumpers with there products :yup:

I would look at both and go with what looks best for now. If you stick with the detailed ones and they fade then you can always fit the painted ones :good:

I did a very quick swap with Old Reds old bumpers on my new car. The bumpers that were on the car are rotten especially the one with the ding. I'm going to go with the black ones just now revive them to black and see how I feel. This was after I had to change the starter motor :dash: which had completely seized but started after the old skool hammer approach. Not that pleased at the time as I just did another 14hr shift at work today and needed the car.

I start placement Tuesday and will know if I can make Biggar hopefully by then :pilot:
