My scirocco - i just love it

Now i have finally got my Rocco to a daily usable state i have to say its such a pleasure to drive. Puts a smile on my face everyday.
Probably going to jinx it now i have said this.

Im going to give her a service this weekend and put in a new oil pump gauze to ensure she is back to 100%. Its also very warming that i know every inch of her after working on her for the last year and have faith in the fact she is going to run on the turn of the key.
For 150k miles the engine is still tight and pulls strongly.

Of my little car collection she is by far my favourite to drive.

this is just a little thread to my Scirocco who gives me daily enjoyment and who i have total faith in.

Does anyone else feel this way or is it just me

I have been running my Scirocco as a daily drive for the past couple of years, it gives me great pleasure even in traffic when compared to the newer cars around me.

In my opinion the connection to the car and feedback you get through the controls makes me smile every time I drive it.

I bought the car with just over 100,000miles on it and it has just gone through 134,000 and still going strong.

Don't be silly, it's just you ... well you and Island_boy_HSV. I'm afraid it's an affliction and the only cure is to let go and never go near another Scirocco ever, ever again.

completely with you here, love mine to bits. just a shame it's already been 8 months since i last drove her.

cannot wait to get back behind the wheel. my mk2 golf just isnt as fun in the corners.

I have been driving my 88 gt 16v as my daily driver since Dec. ' 07

I have also looked at newer cars and have not found one yet that preforms as well as this Scirocco does
