MFA oil temp not working
After 2 years in storage, the only thing not working is the oil temp on the MFA. I think I have located the sensor but does can anyone confirm the location (pics if possible) and a way of testing if it is working.

Re: MFA oil temp not working
pretty sure its the green and black wire on top of the filter. There are two near together so I could be wrong. Try cleaning the connections and if it still doest work earth it and you should get a high reading on the MFA. If you dont the fault is from the wiring back to the MFA if you do its with the sender.
How long did you run the car for? I ask as mine shows no reading for ages then starts at around 50.

50 is where it normally appeared (when it worked). I ran the engine until the radiator fan kicked, so was expecting something to show on the MFA. Cleaned the connection as it was pretty green and it didn't make much difference. Will try the earthing trick. Thanks for the tip.
