That's my old car :) Glad to see it's going well! <3
Small world, but this is a Scirocco site! I had always hoped that some one would recognise it. I bought it in Feb 2009 from a bloke in Kensington, London, spent quite a bit getting it to a good standard. How long did you have it?
I owned it back in 2007, had it for about 6 months. In the time i swapped the interior seats over for some better
ones, and fitted a new genuine wing aerial replacing the a seized and snapped one. To be honest i wish i'd kept it,
but had another at the time and it was more of an impulse buy as it was local to me. I then had two sat on my
driveway...like i do now funnily enough :) Glad to see its still being enjoyed :D

Yes I have enjoyed it but it has not been a cheap exercise! I have changed many parts for new and the aeriel needed replacing when I got it for an electric one (as per standard). The seats were refurbished, that alone cost me £220, but a good job.
It runs nice, due to new injectors and regular servicing with genuine VW parts. I had some paint when I first bought it as some of the lacquar had shattered and also had the wheels powder coated.
Want to buy it back????

Evenin' folks,

I know I've just posted this in the "Introduce Yourself" thread, but it seemed relevant to stick it here too!

As a follow on, I couldn't resist a quick fiddle with Paint Shop Pro especially as I'd already been thinking a set of black/polished rims would look good on her. This is an old photo taken before I took off the vinyl on the B-pillars and swapped the side repeaters back to the originals, but you get the idea ...

Guess its the Euro Millions tomorrow night then!
