I need a new fuel tank for a GT2 1992.
Can you settle this one? Most of information I've had is that they don't vary beyond the fact that the older ones were a bit smaller. However, when my friendly garage called up about this one www.vwheritage.com/vw_spares_Fuel-Tank- ... geToLoad=1 they were told it was completely the wrong type.
Any ideas?

Link doesn't appear to work, but you'll have the later 55L tank and space saver spare wheel. ETKA gives the same part number for both the Golf and rocco and the number matches with the one published for Golf cabby on their site.

GSF sell new 55l fuel tanks, I paid £130 at the beginning of 2010.
