Re: Spotted
Seen on Friday lunchtime when I was up at The Phirm was a mint looking Scala or GTII in Tornado Red on a J plate. The reason I couldn't identify it was the B pillar had a decal proclaiming that it was 20V. I asked the mechanic who was tuning mine up about the car and it apparently had an Audi TT engine it, hence the 20 valves

Spotted a white GT2 I think in the centre of Leicester at around 1pm today.
Four Sciroccos, four gone, but at least I know all parts from most current one went to good homes....

Strange as it may seem some of us are.the driver looked like an elderly gentleman.
Though your description may be being a little bit kind ( Old F--ts may be nearer the truth.)

Five photos from the late 80's / early 90's of Sciroccos found randomly on flickr:

Sadly it seems that none of them are a going concern any more...

Re: Spotted
Silver non-bodykit mk2 crossing Edgware Road/ Shoot Up Hill on Sunday afternoon, from Mapesbury Road into Mill Lane. Given the rarity of such cars it was possibly the one I saw in Golders Green a couple of years ago, since it was headed in that rough direction.

Spotted this beauty (GTX) in Royston and then came across it 5 minutes later in the Tesco car park there and did the decent thing and parked up next to. Spotted today (1pm 21st Dec 11).
