Reevs Like Mad
Got a std 91 GT", first thing when cold revs up to 2000 rpm after a few bips of the pedal reverts to normal choke, any ideas

What does your handbook say the car will sit at when the automatic choke is on?

If it reverts back to normal revs BEFORE it gets up to operating temp, make sure the throttle return spring on the carb is doing it's job. I mention this because when I spent ages learning to fully understand the Peirburg, at one time I had this symptom and overlooked the bleeding obvious and it was a just a sticking throttle cable !
