If you get the part numbers go and check www.vwheritage.co.uk I'd be interested too as the outer scraper on mine bit manky and wouldn't mind replacing them!

no, the scraper is seperate, the window seals seem to be in 3 bits, the scrapers, felt seals that go along the back and top of the window, and another felt seal that goes down the metal 1/4 light seperator

Hi guys
sorry for the eavesdrop

I lost my exterior seal that runs along the bottom of the window
basicaly sits where the window winds down into the door and stops water from pouring into the door

is that what you mean when you say scraper?

I just looked on vw heritage but couldn't find the part
hope i have not missed the boat again
don't really want to drive around with gaffer tape stuck to the door

would appreciate your help and advice
Thanks
Ade

Yes, that's the scraper moulding. I bought mine for the Storm from VW Heritage, I rang them and they searched around for them, I think they cost me £51 including delivery. Worth giving them a call and speaking to a person!

The idea of the forum is that people can AND are suposed to eavesdrop and offer opinions and advice! :yup:

If you go onto VW Heritage and enter the part number they tend to come up with the part, or thats what i have found, they also have rear number plate light covers (the ones that are impossible to get ahold of nowadays!) :yup:
