Re: Introduce yourself
Hi I'm Kev, live in Gt Dunmow ESSEX, I already own a couple of VW's (Mk3.5 Cabby and T25 camper)
I have just become a proud owner of a 1987 Scirocco Scala (1800 carb) in white. Just got to love the 80's!!
It a one lady owner 43k milage, full VWSH in immaculate condition, never driven in the rain or winter, the only thing letting it down is the engine bay which has been waxoyled since new and is therefore a bit grubby.
The interior is also in white and has been covered since new in terry towelling seatcovers so the original seat coverings are in as new condition.
Picking it up on Wednesday will post pics then :)

Re: Introduce yourself
Hello
Finally managed to get my registration activated - thanks to the boffins behind the scenes for that!
Recently bought a G reg Scala from a chap in Dudley. Although the bonnet needed respraying the rest of the car and interior are in good nick. I'll post a couple of pics up soon as I'm hoping someone will recognise it since it has a 'Scirocco Club' sticker and plastic document folder. Looking at the logo I presume that this was the previous incarnation of the Register.
Cheers
Michael
