OMR, keep shopping around mate, there must be loads of places in the Glasgow area that are cheaper and will do a good job.

I got some flash silver from 'paints4u'
https://www.paints4u.com/ProductDetails ... uctID=5423
Ordered a kit, primer, base colour, lacquer, rubbing compound and wet & dry for £25ish.
Worked well for me.

Been a busy boy and went and got this.
Image
Went to a place that MacColl from off here knew about.
400 ml can of LP7Y mixed and fitted with a fancy nozzle £10.40 x 2.
450 ml can of black gloss £3.97 x 2.
500 ml con of clear laquer £3.67.
5 Litre can Tetrosyl underseal £12.85.
Total £45.28 not bad to paint a door that had o few "blemishes" on it.
I'll post a picture up if it is a success.
Fingers crossed.
Hope to have enough left over to touch up front O/S wing as it is looking a bit tatty.
A BIG THANKS TO ALL FOR YOUR REPLIES

Well folks this was how my door turned out.
Image
It now has all the bits and pieces refitted and just has to go back on the car.
I have also tackled the big scab on the tailgate under the lock, top part of the O/S front wing and the top part of the drivers door but both need the final coat and laquered.
Haven't really had much chance to get near the car to get things done.
