Not so much of a restoration thread, the car was in good order when I got it, more a history of cosmetic changes.

I guess because I live with it I don't notice it so much, but when I put all the photos of the incremental changes together there is quite a difference between when I first bought it and now.

Only shot I have of the car with it's original wheels:

New alloys:

Colour coded wing mirrors, grill and fog lights:

New grill (easier to clean), lights, indicators and wheels:

Latest parts, almost ready to go on:

The spoiler is just waiting for a final cut with compound and polishing. It's still flexible and I've been able to move it around without the paint cracking.
Needless to say, once it's mounted I won't be using the spoiler to open or close the tailgate!

Totally agree I noticed the BLACK strip on the bumper, BLACK valves, BLACK towing eye and BLACK wipers.
It's just not good enough DT1, you must try harder.

I just know that when i ark mine up next to it a Lymm services nex week and after you've driven 250miles it will still be cleaner abd brighter than mine :( lol
