What month in 1992 did the last Sciroccos run off the production line??
And what model was last car off the line?

Think the last one is now in the VW museum or somewhere similar.

The (alleged) second to last one is, called Penultima is, I think, undergoing a bit of a resto at the moment. Been bloody years sine I last saw it.

It will (probably) have been July 92, in line with the old German August factory shut down and before they were being re-tooled for the subsequent model year - hence only a handful of L reg cars out there. I.E. most of the summer 92 cars would become UK K plates.

Penultima is the aptly named penultimate UK Spec. Mk2 that came into the uk, VW uk allegedly kept the final one for themselves, that VW Driver Magazine ran as a project car back in the day.

mine was bought 13/11/92 still got the doc's, in red.and never been touched. all original.

Nice. Mines a january 92. Just had full respray in original tornado red. When i stripped the bodykit off it was as good as new under the plastics. Just a small spot on front offside wing where a previous plonker had bumped it a little. Good as new now.

Chassis number is WVWZZZ53ZNK010000

Engine was a 1.8 PL with engine number 095583 95KW 129BHP

Gearbox 2Y 5 gear manual.
