Rear Wiper and Front Fogs

Post by decon »

Quick Question

My front fogs have stopped working bulbs are ok and the rear wiper has also given up the ghost
even though the rear washer is working.
Any ideas the rear wiper I suspect is wiring even though the taillights are ok.
But wondering is there any commomn cause ie a relay or something that dies

Thanks
David

You haven't mentioned that you have checked the fuses! Fog lights are no.6 and 15 amp and the rear wash/wipe is no.12 and again 15 amp.

F/Fogs, Check the connections in the lamp unit, also check the connectors on the loom (strapped to the front cross member), The terminals in the plugs can corrode.

R/Wiper, if its not a corroded/smelly burnt out relay and the fuse is intact then check the wires that pass through the body in the top left hand corner (passenger side), its normaly one of these that wear through.(normaly the black one)

If it is not broken, Do not fix it !!!
