OSR Wheel Bearing Replacement Parts

Post by Ryan »

Surfing GSF gives me these options...

412VG0040 WHEEL BEARING SC 2/74 > Rear Inner 2.65
412VG0050 WHEEL BEARING-FR/RE OUTER SC 2/74 > 2.25
413VG0030 WHEEL BEARING KIT-FRONT SC 2/74 > 12.15
413VG0151 WHEEL BEARING KIT-REAR SC 2/74 > 6.75

What would I need for the mk1?

Cheers.

They're different parts for different applications so far as I can make out.

Are you wanting front or rear?

The kit includes a new cap, split pin and locking nut, the other two marked for the rear are just the individual inner and outer bearing, for the extra couple of quid it's worth getting the kit.

To be honest, I've known of that many bad storys of GSF wheel bearings, I just wouldn't.
