Fuel pump relay

Post by jim91 »

I've had to replace the relay in the kjet and got a spare off here, but always at back my mind that they're over 20yr old and would feel safer having a new one to hand. Local VW dealer told be obsolete and GSF list them, but when I asked a year or two ago weren't very helpful in trying to get me one!!

Anyone any ideas???

If you can get your parts counter to follow the "replaced by" trail, there is a current version of it, and the price isn't too bad. My housemate orderred one up for a Polo a while back. The problem was, the casing on it seemed a bit flimsy for fitting in the polos fuse box in the scuttle, so he sent it back.

I would go along to an Audi, Skoda or SEAT dealer and ask, it might just be a greedy VW dealership.

443907385B is the same relay I believe.
