Fuel pump relay
I've had to replace the relay in the kjet and got a spare off here, but always at back my mind that they're over 20yr old and would feel safer having a new one to hand. Local VW dealer told be obsolete and GSF list them, but when I asked a year or two ago weren't very helpful in trying to get me one!!
Anyone any ideas???

Re: Fuel pump relay
If you can get your parts counter to follow the "replaced by" trail, there is a current version of it, and the price isn't too bad. My housemate orderred one up for a Polo a while back. The problem was, the casing on it seemed a bit flimsy for fitting in the polos fuse box in the scuttle, so he sent it back.

Guy I got in my dealers obviously an idiot then!!!
Happy days I'll get back onto them and tell them to pull the finger out!!
Re: Fuel pump relay
What quality like tho? I'm always thinking if genuine one lasted 20 odd years then another genuine one will

Re: Fuel pump relay
I would go along to an Audi, Skoda or SEAT dealer and ask, it might just be a greedy VW dealership.
443907385B is the same relay I believe.
