MK1 Radiator

Post by MRMENDER »

Need one for mine was having problems finding one. GSF Had none, found another company who could deliver one in 3 weeks at £88, I went to my local branch of Intertruck. Used to be Serck Intertruck all part of Unipart now. To see if they could re core. the old boy recognised the old rad. I asked about a re core he said he could get me a new one by today. Sure enough it arrived today at £64.42 So another supplier not to be overlooked.

Is the radiator you got the one with out the expansion tank? I think mine is starting to leak in my Mk1 GLS and in the process of pricing up a new one.

Hi,

What's the depth on the radiator that you got please? Mine on the Mk1 Storm is about 42mm deep (other dimensions are the same) but I only seem to be able to track down one on the web with 33mm depth. I know it will work, but wanted the correct one if possible (it is the one that fills from the rad direct, without the header tank)

Cheers,

Kevin
ps - Kempston Radiators have one for £73.46

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. I have only been able to track down the thinner one so far.

My local Serck only does industrial stuff now so said he couldn't help with my Rocco. I've emailed their head office to see if they can do anything.

Cheers,

Kevin

No reply from Serck head office, I don't suppose you have the contact details for the place you got the one with 42mm depth from please?

Cheers,

Kevin

You could always try Unipart directly... most towns of a reasonable size have a branch.
