:dunno:

are you sure about that cos i thought they came on as long as the lights were on and the fog lamp switch was all the way on?
Erm, that's exactly what I said. Headlights (technically referred to as dipped-beam and main(or full)-beam) need to be on, then turn the fog-lights on and they work. They don't work with sidelights. They still work on main-beam, but you'd be a bit weird if you decided to blind yourself using full-beams in fog.

After the discussion I checked, and my foglights operate with sidelights only. Sorry. :buddy:

OK this is a stupid question but......
Like I stated above, I don't know real English because I live in the country that destroyed the language.
To me side lights are markers (front wraparound turn signals and small bulbs in the corner tail assembly that stay on when the headlight switch is positioned to any on position) or Japanese repeaters (1/4 mid turn signals that stay on all the time when the headlight switch is positioned to any on position). Do you call tail lights sidelights?
I thought a side lite was a window in a door? :?:

Sidelights are what comes on when the headlight switch is at the first "on" position. Dipped-beam headlights come on at the second "on" position. Full-beam come on when the indicator (turn-signal) stalk is pulled towards the driver.

Thank you. That is what I thought but you folks have different ways of saying things.

So the sidelights are just the tail lights? No front lights come on? You see in N/A when we set the switch at the first "on" position it turns on 6 lights.

Small lights come on in the main light unit at the front when sidelights are on as well as the tail lights.

As Ed said, the front lights have three settings, side, dip and full, and the tail lights are on with all of these.

"Small lights come on in the main light unit"<----- We call them City lights.

As already mentioned on the German Roccoforum, my Mk2 Storm fires up both rear fog lights. The wiring loom is absolutely original.
