Headlamp clips

Post by Mr Funk »

Right.....
Having removed the front spoiler I noticed that the top left white plasticky thing on the main headlamp was gone resulting in a movable light. Can it be replaced or is it new lamp time?

I need these too, if I remember, i'll be asking for them tomorrow at ECP when I pick up some other bits.
I looked online but couldn't find them but will get the part number up here if I'm successful.
I asked at VW but no joy.

And before trying to fit them, warm them up first to soften the plastic slightly, otherwise in this cold weather they will just break.

Are GSF better for these kind of things? ECP don't stock them anymore, which is a shame, as there is one not far from me.

The clips are obsolete from GSF?

I just picked some up last week for my new headlights, the guy never said anything about being obsolete.

I've got some old ones that work if you need some, off white but intact.
