Thanks Colin, that would ge great!DT1 wrote:I notice that you mentioned 16" wheels eventually (maybe).
Mine has struts and coils with a ~30mm drop and 16" alloys.
I'll try and get a pic from a lower angle later to give a better idea of clearance.
What suspension set up would you recommend for a Mk2?

Had jom coilovers in my vento, they were great, surprisingly comfy, but could be a bit bouncy on rough roads. My red gtx had standard shocks and eiback springs, was a bit firmer than the coils but went round corners brilliantly.

Sorry, by the time I got back from picking up my aunt it was dark. Be tomorrow now.
Bit surprised that you want lowered and 16" as it makes for quite a hard ride, great for smooth roads though.
I mentioned that to Ian when we were at the national and came back from the camping site in his car, he was able to take those backroads at much faster speeds more comfortably than I would have with my suspension.

Well I have standard on the Scala and Wietecs on the Storm, the Storm is bloody hard and you feel every bump and pot hole! I know what I prefer so it is whether you want looks or comfort.
