Coming back for more..

Post by Peaceman »

Hello evryone!

I used to be a regular here some time ago (years!) then life got hectic and dragged me away. I always had my Scala though so kept the faith :yup:

I had some thinking to do recently after a kind neighbour reversed into the drivers door and not long after I found out the gearbox is ruined, I came close to letting her go..... :shocking:

But then I just couldn't do it! :yahoo: I'm too attached, its not the right time for a split yet.

Since there are a few other bits needing sorting on the engine I'm going to go for a 16v conversion and sort the door and other bodywork issues out.

I'll head to the correct sections for the technical chat but wanted to re-introduce myself and see if anyone is on here from my neck of the woods down South?

I'm near Portsmouth and have seen more and more 'rocco's around lately. I've never been to any kind of meet either so would be cool to go to any if they're close by enough.

Cheers all!

Chris

The best person to speak to is Rusty dan as he has done the 16v conversion on his lovely white lady haha, plus he lives down in pompy area so very close to you.
All though I am only half hours drive away from pompy but my rocco has not got a 16v conversion. I am a mechanic though so I do know my stuff lol.

Cheers to both of you!

I'm gonna need some help with the conversion for sure, I'm mechanically able just technical issues like manifolds and fuel system stuff need sorting.

I might start another topic then on South coast rocco's, or do a search at least to find out who's about for a possible meet?
