Problem fitting weber carb

Post by koala_plushie »

I'm having a couple of issues fitting a weber dmtr carb to my scirocco, the main one being with the fuel lines. On the carb theres a fuel line in but also a fuel line out, i'm not sure what to do with the fuel line out? On the original pieberg there's only a fuel line going into the carb, but not one going back out, there's a fuel line out on the accumulator though (I think that's what it's called?).

Should I block it off?!

Any help would be very much apreciated, I'll try and grab some pics later if they help.

Take the return line off the accumulator and connect it to the return line from the carb so the return from the carb goes straight back to the petrol tank. Connect the fuel pump outlet hose straight to the carb inlet and then remove the accumulator completely as it is not needed on a DMTR set up. (It is still used on a DMTL set up which is the normal conversion for Roccos by the way as there is no return line from the carb).
