Still slight oil leak

Post by Whitescala89 »

I still have a slight oil leak from the back o/s corner of the sump even after renewing the sump gasket last weekend. Is there any way of sealing this up without removing the sump? Views/ideas please. Thanks

sure its the sump?

intermediate shaft and camshaft oil seals worth checking out too. good time to get the cam belt changed if you do spot a leak.

Thanks. Cambelt was last done in 2005. Not sure how many miles have been done since as mile counter has stopped working. Spilt some oil on the engine when trying to put new oil in (A four pint milk bottle ncut in half and the pouring end put in the filler hole works well) Will check tomorrow as off work. Thanks
