hi keith, welcome to the forum.

another all white scala - good to see another one re-surface.

re the bits and pieces check the specific areas below, theres a few 'standard' queries re these cars eg fuel neck, interior leak, clutch cable/bulkhead, trim etc etc.

also worth checking peoples projects re how they brought cars back to life and the FAQ too - http://sciroccoregisterforum.co.uk/faq/ re the usual problem areas.

Welcome to another White Scala owner. Good luck getting it sorted mate, I could help you with an inner light, just PM me your details and we can arrange things.
My advice with the interior (have experince with this!), take all the seats out and get a bucket of hot water with washing powder/liquid and use a soft scrubbing brush, let them dry in this dry hot weather, then reassess and repeat if you need to. I would also invest in a seat cover(s) for everyday driving which is quick and easy to remove to show off the whiteness!!!
Definately check the filler neck but also check the fuel lines underneath the car, mine where totally shot!
I would as a matter of course give it a good service, oil change and filter (very cheap from the main dealer), air filter and fuel filer, plugs and change the cambelt also change the coolant and brake fluid as they will probably be well past their sell by date. If the car has stood for a while have a look at the tyres and brakes, the only things keeping you on the road and stopping you!

I would also recommend becoming a paid up member of the Register, well worth the £15 anuual fee and you qualify for discounts galore.
I look forward to seeing it at the shows mate and definately some pictures.
Where are you based?
