Hi, Im Dan and the link below is the originally named Roxy! She is my first scirocco, and if you click the link then im sorry dont hate me for making a scirocco look like this, but let me explain myself: she was bought in November for £140 quid she had been stood for 2 years, and after a new tyre and a couple of bulbs she had her MOT and she was dressed up for a banger rally to Africa, she done 5500 miles in 3 weeks on some pretty rough terrain with no trouble and i fell in love with her so much i didnt sell her at the end for charity, sold my audi and my alfa and now shes my everyday car!

Hi, I'm Chris, I've got a '89 Helios Blue Injection Scala...well thats what it was. Had it for 9 years or something like that, and in that time I think the only thing I've not had off it is the fuel tank. Its now got a G60 engine in, and lots of other bits to help it handle the extra power.
I've fallen into the trap of loosing interest in it once its was finished, so here I am trying to rekindle the Scirocco love.

Anyways, thats enough from me...I'll see if I can make the images work...

Hi all, I thought I'd better introduce myself. I'm Doug, and I've had my 1989 MkII for about 3 years now.

I registered here about that time, soon after I got it, to ask a couple of questions on teething problems it came with. Other than that, I've had 3 years of problem free driving.

I registered here again recently, as it was coming up to my MOT, and I've recently had a baby and moved house, and it was quite possible that if things didn't go to plan, I'd have to give up my dream car :~/ (when I was 8, I thought that by the time I was in a position to get a Scirocco, they wouldn't exist anymore).

As it is all went ok, I've still got my beauty, I've now got the T-shirt, and my wife is even encouraging me to get a second MkII!! Things couldn't be better. And now I'm here, I intend to post a bit more, and hopefully with a bit of help give it the TLC it deserves.
