Using Electronic Ignition without Injectors

Post by Funky Diver »

Right, been having a think... and I don't wanna go down the injection route.

Been looking at replacing the points to electronic / sensing style points for spark management, then I red of someone using electronic for just spark timing and leaving hte injector management out of hte loop.

Short question, will this work on a car with carbs for JUST spark management? Any idea of parts needed?

I have a 2E lump with dizzy for that, so would that be a good place to investigate?

Then I go and find out about megajolt... looking like a suitable option, especially as my bike carbs already have a throttle sensor on them!! :P

More reading required I reckon.
