My name is Mike and I've just bought Paul's (D-Reame) '98 Helios blue GTX!

Those of you who have seen it will agree its one of the best out there, so huge credit to Paul for the work he's done on getting it to such great condition.

I'm not new to VW's as I've owned 3 Air-cooled models (1x 1200 '72 Beetle, 2x type 3's. also an '84 Scirocco CL and a couple of MK5 golf's) I still have one of my Type 3's a 1972 Variant that I'm slowly getting back onto the road.

I hope to keep it in the excellent condition it's in and bring it to a few shows, BVF is a favorite of ours so it'll probably be there.

Hope to see and speak to you all soon. :beers:

welcome indeed Mikey - you have a superb car there, and they're my old wheels too bought new at GTI International 1990, tyres were all new in summer 2006 and have done less than 10k even allowing for their time with Edmundator.

Hi all,

Great to be here.

How are we all? Hope we are well!

I have a big hankering for a Havanna Storm, My ultimate Rocco.

I fondly remember the Alpine White 1985 C Rocco GTS that my dad had between 88-89, it was a real go-er!!

Nice to meet you all friends, im going to be an active regular here!!

Kind Regards

Russell.

Hello!! :nerner:

Just bought a 1990 GT2 which is already proving itself to be a massive headache!... But it doesn;t really matter because it looks awesome

Hi

just though I'd introduce myself. I have just bought a GTII in white and am collecting it tomorrow so I am after hints and tips as to good mods to do to it. Its bog standard and done 132k so whats the best thing to do.

I am planning the cambelt and a major service and a good freshen up first.
