speedo unit help

Ive taken my dash unit out to replace the broken speedo cable
but it dosent want to go back in when i have reconected everything.
Has anyone got any tips on getting it back in or know of a pannel i can remove
so i can plug it all in after sliding it back?

that would be cool if you dont mind. Ive been battling with it for the last hour
My haynes manual just says "refitting is the reverse of removal" lots of help
Im actually in liphook now, just down from haslemere, I should update that.

Ha ha I feel your pain.. I removed mine yesterday to do a dash swap, was it the fact you have to sit the bottom of it back into those hooks? Took me a while. Good to know there are other 'rocco owners near me :)

Yeah it was the hooks and the bits that slot into them,
I almost considerd cutting them off it drove me so mad :dash:
Still, I now know how to do it properly thanks to kind strangers
helping each other. :yahoo:

There are some good FAQ's about removing the clocks. Look at the ones referring to the MFA. :blush:
