Re: Which wire where?
Which coloured wires do you have left over?
Would be easier to know than listing every wire on the engine! Especially after a night on beer

VW Scirocco 16V GTX, Kamei X1 and a half
Re: Which wire where?
It's the three on the left hand side of the engine. All three go into a sender and have a spade connector on the end

Re: Which wire where?
When i first made that pic i got one of the oil sensors wrong - the only oil sensor is the one on the back of the cylinder head!
The 3 senders around the thermotime switch are all water sensors.
Of the 3 wires you have the important one is white/blue and that tells the 16v 'ECU' the engine is warming up and adjusts the timing to suit; according to the VW KR workshop manual this should go to the sender closest to where i labeled 'warm up reg'. The other 2 wires can go on either of the other 2 senders.
As standard the oil sender on the back of the cylinder head is not used
I think that makes sense - will read it again in the morning after i've sobered up (again!!)

Hi Mate,
Did you have a chance to look at all? The whole head has been taken off and is waiting for the garage to put it back in. I should of made a note?!
Do you know what colour wires/connectors go to the folowing -
WUR
CSV
5th Injector
Any TB connectors
Head senders
Any other connectors/senders that connect to the head and everything else that ataches to the head. I found a few pics on vwvortex but could not make out the wiring colours.
