Electric window switches
I have seen on the forum a couple of cars with non standard window switches in a surround on the dash(where the guage next to the ashtray is on some cars) Where can i get some of these ? As whoever fitted mine must have been hammered. They are really wonky.

Re: Electric window switches
A very basic multimeter would do... most have a continuity tester on them. Alternatively a battery, light bulb and some wire... attach it all together in a loop, leave a break that you stick on the terminals of hte switch, operate switch, if the light bulb lights it works, if not, it's knackered.
The second method is obviously cheaper, a chuck away LED torch (the kinda thing you can pick up a pack of 300 from the poiund shop) would do. Take out the push buton switch, extend the wires and Robert's your grannies son.

Re: Electric window switches
Ive got some elecric window switches along with the surrounds u can have for £15 posted. Just cut the right size hole in your door card if nto already there.
One of the metal clips that holds the switch into the surround is gone so it stick out a bit.
