filler neck

hi guys,
bit of help please, is a mk1 scirocco filler neck the same as a mk1 golf????

any help would be great

Not quite - A golf one needs a bit of tweaking to fit a scirocco - Mainly Cutting about 4-6" (from memory - check it before you do it!)off the petrol tank end. I think there is slight differences at the end where it fits to the filler hole too, but not sure what needs doing.

if your mk1 has the smaller tank, i'd guess it probably doesn't need cutting down, but you will need to tweek the shape at the top
