Hi all
I've just had a new Weber 32/34 fitted to my MK2 Rocco, but am in need of an air filter to fit it.
I've seen K&N ones, but I'm just wondering if anyone has a preferrence on what to get?

Re: Air filter for Weber Carb
Standard airbox should fit... and you can stick a K&N panel filter in it?
Alternatively, the pancake style one's do fit as far as I'm aware, however, you may have warm air issues with it being above the exhaust and behind the engine.

Re: Air filter for Weber Carb
I wanted the original Air box to go back on, but I only have about 50mm clearance above the new carb.
I've contacted a few companies, to see if I can get a thin filter to bolt on.

If its a weber 32/34 and it's fitted to the original carb mount, then the standard box fits. I know, I have one fitted!!

The mechanic had to make a base plate for it, but other than that its a pretty standard fit.
I've just been out to the car, and tried fitting the old air box to it, and it fits over the new carb, but I can't think of a way to hold it onto the Weber.

Re: Air filter for Weber Carb
There's a little bracket that attaches to the top of the carb, then you bolt the airbox to it through the hole in the top of the airbox.
Re: Air filter for Weber Carb
I have the bracket on it. Isn't that hole too small to get to the bolts?

Re: Air filter for Weber Carb
You are using the bracket that is identified in the piccie (part numbers 32 - 38). Allows the standard air box to fit using the correct brackets in place on the rocker cover too....
