Weber Induction Kit Adapter

Post by Funky Diver »

OK, so in the spirit of keeping things looking nice, is there such a one? I've seen a few odd looking adapters for Webers, including ram pipes, but not for hte standard Weber available.

Cheers,
Rich

presumably for the 3234dtml? what are you wanting to sit on it?

how about the rubber gaitor from the air meter on a volvo 740, a length of polished stainless of suitable size and a cone filter on the end, with bracketry made to suit

Yup...

I don't actually want to sit anything on it... except maybe a cone style filter on the front end of the induction tube :P

Thanks for that... will do some hunting round scrappy

the volvo has k-jet, same as the rocco, but rather biggerer. as i remember it, that gaitor would be just the right shape.

hmmm... looked at the volvo pipe, not sure how it might fit.

There IS however a plenum (that just sounds like it should be covered in satin with red lace) kit for a 32/36 DGV.

Gonna give Peter a ring at WebCon on Monday t osee if it'll go on the 32/34. Woohooo, we could be onto a winner :D or we might not be. :shocking:

well it kinda is a bit of pipe, but it's roughly 4" diameter (same as the top of the carb) then had a tight 90 degree corner and becomes 2.5 inch ish pipe

been quite a few years since i've interfered with a volvo, but from memory i think it will be more or less the right size.
