BATTERY for 1.8 SCALA

Post by jonkennedy »

Hi There

After leaving my car in LONG STAY car park for 4 days I returned to a FLAT BATTERY..
:lazy:

I am looking to buy a new one and hoped you could advise me for £40 - £60...
This one from Euro Car Parts looks to be about right
http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Volks ... 5ec84&BATT

Any Advice ?

Let me know
JON

Not sure on battery (as I'm in the same boat... don't get enough chance to drive the car so the battery is perpetually flat)

I will be investing a whole £13 in a battery top up solar doofer when I get my new battery.

They're available elsewhere however that's the least expensive I've found so far.

they should be able to tell you what size is needed. iirc the scirocco takes "type 063" which should cost you around £35 for a varta / deta / lucas with at least 3 years guarantee on it

Yu could always disconnect it whilst it's standing? I know it's not the best solution but least means you won't be stranded.
