280mm brakes,will they fit inside 15 inch wheels ?

Had a chat with my insurance company today,wanted to check how much it`s going to go up with the 9a engine in,only £56. Which i thought was ok .
They stipulate that i must also fit the brakes,from the car the engine came from (corrado) Going to get the adapter brackets off the caddy forum,then G60 calipers,disks and pads.
Will they fit inside 15 inch wheels ?


6 point cage,Koni`s,lower front brace,rear brace,goodridge hoses,4,2,1,supersprint back box,k+n,kent gs2h,vernier,skimmed and ported head,alloy fuel tank.catch tank,Short shift ,9A soon.

they fit inside most, but not all 15s, worth checking beforehand...they also fit behind 1 certain 14inch wheel...but thats my little secret, and the next thing on my shoping list :hugegrin:


do I really want a carb'd valver? answers on a postcard...

Ah might be worth measuring the internal diamiter of any wheels i might want then .

I have 305mm disks behind 15" wheels...

Dad needed 5mm spacers to fit the caddy forum 280's behind my old 15" TSW Hocks...

Just measure the offset and space behind the spokes.
