Inner Door Membranes

Post by jbo »

Hi all,

Does anyone know where I can get the plastic sheets that go between the door and cards? I accidently came across a guy who makes and sells them for like a fiver on ebay. Cant remeber what i searched.

And before anyone suggests it, yes I know its only a piece of plastic and no I dont want to make one myself!

Ah, just noted the off the shelf request.

There is an ebay seller that does these for Golfs - may be easier to adapt a set?

Hi all,

Thanks for all your advice. Even though my engine has gone i might as well carry on fixing the rest of the car up.

I will get some clear plastic sheeting this weekend. Does anyone have a pic of the sheeting on? I need to know which bits to leave exposed etc.

Jason
