fuel tanks

im looking for a new fuel tank for my 1978 GLS 1.6carb.
any idear where i can pick one up for a good price?
im sure its just a mk1golf tank right??

Yep - mk1 golf tank fits, I think GSF sell them.

yup, straight swap. Careful dropping the rear axle, the four studs that it is secured too can shear -nightmare!

Remember the GSF tanks havnt got a non return flap like the original ones so hard cornering can result in fuel spillage! depends how you drive :yup:
