VAG Trophy pics

Finally have the pictures I took at the Silverstone VAG Trophy round this summer - I was playing around with an old 35mm camera, hence the delay and the slightly grainy picture quality and occasionally duff compositions.

How well did the Scirocco do against the likes of the Corrado? Whats the spec of the car aswell? Looks awesome!

Ian Carvell is the man to talk to (username is his name on this forum). I think he won his class, if not the whole championship in car No.1, which was a not very heavily modified GTII. This car has now been sold, with the engine removed - I presume it will return to the championship next year in a new configuration.

Round the bends, the car was outclassing VR6 engined Golfs, but losing out on power down the straights.

The other car, No.16, is more extensively modified and used to beat everything else in the VW Cup until they changed the regs so old VWs couldn't show-up the new ones.
