The worth of the wings..

Post by DJPremier »

All..

My new toy (MK2 Storm) ideally needs new front wings NS and OS. They will be fine for the MOT but replacement will be the best option in the medium term. I'd certainly appreciate your collected wisdom on how much I should be paying for MK2 wings. Assumed to be in a 'no rust', not bent and generally immediately usable condition. Scrappers, private sale etc. anything I can find really. Just so I know what is sensible; to counteract the ebay effect. ;)

Thanks in advance.

Not sure about wings but have seen nos wings on ebay for £50, I managed to get 2 complete doors and a rear hatch for mine for £50 off ebay and a bonnet for a quid all rot n dent free so the bargains are out there just haven't seen any wings up for a while.

It was meant to be a cheep run around till I finished the Type 1, Now I have 2 projects and an obsession
