Anyone seen or used this carb method?

Post by andyneedham2 »

Just been having a gander around as theres a few cheap weber 40s around at the moment.

I know there was a way or running just the one (twin 40s are too expensive), found this

anyone know anything?... especially about the 'lynx manifold'. I can find a few for BMW's just not for VW's

Cheers

I had a single Weber 40 DCOE with a Lynx manifold on a Mark 1 GLS back in the late 80's early 90's. Still got the carb and manifold. Had to fabricate/modify a standard linkage kit though to attach the throttle cable.
