Been a busy boy again today.I decided i didn`t like what i had done with the mdf, whoever cut out the speaker holes didn`t do a very good job of it,and i was not 100% happy with the fit, have made the panels a bit longer,so it goes below the ply that the sub is bolted too,i also made another template, used some string and a pencil to get the line of the rear arch,it`s spot on now :D

Not sure about the grey carpet stuff either, think i might just paint it all black,if i don`t like that i may cover it in something else

Only got the one job booked for the morning,so weather permiting i will be out there again tomorrow, plan on moving the other amp next to the sub,as it looks a bit untidy where it is at the mo....

What you using to hold it to the bodywork?
I've got a job lot of the plastic clips if you need some.
Covering wise I've got some magic acoustic carpet, superb stuff. Can send you up a sample if you want.

Hi Mr Funk.
What i have done is affix a 2 inch wide strip of mdf along the top of the rear bit where the rear card pops in ( does that make sense ? ) i had some captive nut things that i screwed into the mdf, then it`s bolted on from behind, the wood panel then screws onto this.
Not done much more other than move the other amp,so it`s next to the sub on the other side ( got a load of wires to tidy up yet,but it`s all there and working now.
Give me ten mins and i will go and get some pics :D
Not sure what i will be covering it in as yet, needs to be fire proof really, will try and get around to painting it all in the week, might get some very thin ally plate,or possibly that plastic stuff that looks like ally plate ?
