Seized rear lower damper bolt

on Project DCS

Bolt seems to be stuck in the lower damper bush sleeve and will not undo.

Anyone experienced this before and anyone have any tips to remove without damaging the rear bean or damper?

Common problem.
Slide a small hacksaw blade between the bush and the beam to cut the bolt.

or tickle the head off it with a grinder.

Put plenty of copper grease on the new bolts when you replace them Matt.

Thanks for all the advice, managed to get the damper out now using the hacksaw blade method.

The damper just fell out once the last bit of bolt was cut and the head and remaining shaft just fell out.

However, the remainder of the bolt itself is stuck SOLID in the damper bush. Wouldn't even budge when inserted in my press.

So, replacement damper needed - see parts wanted section if anyone is able to help!!

Will fit a new pair if a used one can't be acquired but new ones will have to wait until budget replenished!
