well the time has come to pull my finger out and get started, so its away today to get chassis leg straightened previous owner never sorted, it drove fine just me being picky, and if the cars getting done its getting done properly. some advice along the way may be needed and would be much appriciated.

Very. Decent facelift wings (with the wraparound indicators) are hotly contested property. Usually several on eBay.de, but at seller's prices.

thats what i was thinking, the wings are solid from what i can see and feel but a few minor dents little crease,im hoping a good body shop will be able to sort out

Its good to see another Mk1 getting sorted out, I might even see another one on the road one day soon.

Good luck with getting the chassis leg straightened, how did it get bent?

previous owner, not sure what happened but i went to see the car, as was for sale 5 mins from where i live, looked at it test drove it drove fine no crabbing at all, came on the forum must have been another members car at 1 point red5 i think, i read the chassis leg was bent but still bought it anyway,love the car,love driving it dont see many on the roads done the mk1 thing so was time to go for something different and not follow the crowds and do the mk2, so there she is hopefully on her way to be on the roads sorted for the shows next year,
