Got a problem with the GTX project. Engine would start and run without too much fuss. However at the weekend I changed the water pump, plugs , HT leads and gave the engine/bay a good jetwash. Now it wont start. Seems like lack of fuel.
I have changed the fuel pump relay as it seemed to have an intermittemt issue. On ignition I can hear the fuel pump prime but doesnt start. Checked for a spark and that was fine. Just in case I have a dodgy HT lead I put the old ones back in, no joy.
Looks like I need to check the fuel pressure and my mechanic (mate from the golf club) is happy yo do a house visit but would liek to get to the bottom myself......so HELP Please...
Any suggestions of things to check before I call in the professionals.
Cheers
