Wing mirror gaskets

As part of the resto I'm trying to get new ones.
I thought that thy are the same as the mk1 golf - but the man at GPC - he say no...

Anyone got any leads on where to look?

I bought some new ones off peter in holland years ago,maybe worth a try.

just rooting through my stuff i noticed I have a few remote mirrors,I can check the gaskets for you, would a good second hand gasket do?
