So i started reading Adaptormans Mk1 Golf thread at 9am this morning, just finished it now, work wont be too chuffed but what a build, i couldnt believe how much home fab'd stuff has gone into that motor

Didn't buy the quatto... couldn't justif braking a good car!
...but I have got a 16v/v coming my way in the near future!
no do I stick it in the rocco or the golf? (tempted by the rocc way, but its a carbed GT2 atm and so sorting the wiring will be fun!)

I was really sad when I learn't about htis guy years ago... thought I was being original (bar VWs own efforts) but no, I've been out done again! ..so I'm just going to plod along with what ever i like regardless of whos been there before!.

Sticking the wiring in is nothing to worry about. I converted a carb car and the wiring took all of about 15 minutes to sort (providing you have the loom from a golf at hand).
16vs are the future, especially when they're 2.1ls with stage 2 cams.
