4 branch manifold - i searched but couldnt find an answer...

Post by big nick »

if I order a 4-2-1 mani from someone like supersprint, can I just bolt it up and go? or will I need to adjust the idle/CO/afr etc after changing it? Iit wouldnt be an issue on an injected car but i'm a bit worried what my pierberg will make of it?! i dont want a car that refuses to run, but I do want it sounding a bit nicer, and stainless lasts longer! I realise that it wont make the car any quicker, thats not why I'm doing it...

anyone got first hand experience of doing this? and what were the results?

cheers,

do I really want a carb'd valver? answers on a postcard...

Yo, I recently did a 4-Branch, P+P Injection Head and Cam swap on my carb'd car. After all that, the car did run but required setting up propperly.

Can't imagine that a 4_branch will make too much difference to the carb to be honest, but theres only one way to find out eh bud? Get the spanners out!
