How To Remove Bumpers ??

Hi, Does Anyone have any guides or tips on how to remove the front and back bumpers off a mk2 ?
As the paint is all flaked and need resprayed.

Open the bonnet and undo the 4 19mm bolts that hold it to the chassis legs then pull. Disconnect the foglamps if you still have them first. For the rear, open the boot and undo the 4 bolts and again it should slide off. :D

mind your toes- when bolts off the bumper will slide out quite quickly.

also the ambient temperature sensor is plugged into the back of the osf section of bumper.

But only if you're fuel injected.

It's an easy job (unlike getting the plastic covers off the bumper irons, which is a pain in the arse).

as ed pointed its just on the injected cars( which came with a trip computer combined with the clock - amongst other things it shows ambient temp).
