Alloy's for Havana Brown storm?

Post by shiftystylin »

Hi all,

Got a Havana Brown Storm with some shoddy old bbs ally's and looking for some new shoes but not really sure about wheels that much...
Saw a set on a mk2 golf in PVW which looked sweet and would suit a 'rocco but were produced in the early 90's and are mainly found, destroyed on scooby websites so staying away from them.

Looking for any suggestions, all are welcome ^_^ cheers!

I've a brown Storm also, the original wheels are called Montreals and are 14", VW also put them on 16v Golf GTI's.
I prefer original, so I had mine refurbished, powder coated and all that nonsense for £200, and I think they look great.
Any pictures of your Storm? :)

I've put the pictures up on the appreciation page. Old pictures but the car hasn't changed much since.
I'm not looking for something just better than my bbs' but at the same time I don't wanna go deep dish or original. I have seen a mk2 golf done with Radius R3 alloy's done in matte black but am also aware they are subaru favourites. Not sure what way to go with them but just looking for ideas at the moment till some money's come rolling in.

Reminds of how my Storm has changed slightly over the years, still sporting the same Brock B2 alloys, but now without that dreadful grille with integrated fogs
